Frequently Asked Questions
What is the difference between Menu and Operations?
Menu replaces your paper menu — a QR menu, your branding, and WhatsApp ordering. Operations adds everything you need to run the service: POS, a live kitchen screen, order management, staff roles and full analytics. Operations includes all of Menu.
Will I lose data if I downgrade?
No. Nothing is deleted. Your orders, menu and customers stay exactly where they are — the Operations features simply become locked, and unlock again the moment you upgrade.
Is there a free trial?
Yes — 14 days free on both plans, so you can try Operations in a real service before you decide.
What happens if I stop paying?
Your account goes read-only after a 14-day grace period. You can still see everything — your menu, your orders, your reports — you just can't make changes. Nothing is deleted and you are never locked out; one payment brings you straight back.
Do my customers need an app or an account?
Neither. They scan the QR with their phone camera and the menu opens. If they want, they can add it to their home screen as an app — with your name and your logo.
What happens if my internet goes down?
You keep working. The dashboard is an installable, offline-first app: you can ring up orders, edit the menu and add customers with no connection at all, and everything syncs itself the moment you are back online.
Can I take my data with me?
Any time, with no limits. One click exports everything to an Excel workbook — in your own menu language, with real numbers and your own dates — or to JSON if another system needs to read it.
Will my staff see everything?
Only what you allow. Ramlyon ships with five ready roles, and you can build your own from around 45 separate permissions. A chef can mark items out of stock without ever seeing a price or a report.
Why is it this affordable?
Because it is efficient. Your menu is served from a global cache without touching a database, and updates are pushed rather than polled — so serving you costs us very little, and that shows up in the price rather than in missing features.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, at any time and in both directions. An upgrade starts the moment your payment is confirmed, and you keep the same account, the same menu and the same printed QR codes.
