Acceptable Use Policy

1. Purpose

This Acceptable Use Policy protects merchants, diners, staff, and the Ramlyon service. It applies to account holders, invited staff, public-menu content, uploads, ordering tools, and any automated access.

2. Lawful and accurate use

You must use Ramlyon only for a lawful restaurant or café operation. You must not publish unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, defamatory, or rights-infringing material. Menu prices, item descriptions, availability, allergen information, taxes, and merchant contact details must be accurate and must not mislead diners.

3. Account and access security

Do not share personal credentials, bypass authentication, defeat role restrictions, reuse an invitation for an unauthorised person, probe another tenant's data, or attempt to access platform administration without authority. Remove staff access promptly when it is no longer required.

Do not upload malware, execute hostile scripts, exploit a vulnerability, interfere with service availability, evade rate limits, or test security without written authorisation. Report suspected vulnerabilities to [email protected].

4. Data and communications

Use diners’ personal data only for the purposes you told them about. Do not scrape another merchant's menu or customers, combine tenant data, sell personal data, send spam, or use Ramlyon to facilitate unsolicited marketing.

WhatsApp ordering sends a cart through the merchant's configured WhatsApp channel. The merchant is responsible for its messages and compliance with the messaging service's rules.

5. Content and storage

Upload only text, images, logos, and other material you have the right to use. Do not use uploads as general file storage, host unrelated material, impersonate another business, or place secrets or payment-card data in menu fields, notes, or images.

Do not use Ramlyon as a general-purpose file or image storage service. Using storage for purposes unrelated to your business content is strictly prohibited.

6. Automated and excessive use

Do not run bots that create accounts, generate artificial menu traffic, submit fraudulent orders or payment claims, overload exports, or consume unreasonable resources. Normal search-engine crawling of public, indexable pages is allowed subject to published crawler rules.

7. Response to misuse

Ramlyon may restrict the affected capability or account while investigating a credible security, abuse, or legal issue. Where practical and safe, the merchant should receive notice and a path to correct the issue.

8. Reporting

Report abuse to [email protected] and security issues to [email protected]. Include the tenant, URL, conduct, and available evidence without sending unnecessary personal data.
